Today we went fishing at Milne dam near markham rd and we walked for 15 min east on the trail and found one spot where there is huge sand hill, but no luck there was no fish in there. As we were coming back on the trial west side under the markham rd bridge a guy told  us he saw couple of fish in the water just under the bridge so we went near the water and yes we did see 2-3 pound fish in there. it was afternoon time and we tried fishing there but no bite i guess fish was not hungry. we will try early in the morning some other time see if it bite. Any suggestion what should we be using? And any other spot at milne dam. The bass timing is open now. most likely the fish we saw was carp.

Using more than 1 line is illegal, using 5 is so far past legal that it's inconceivable. Raping the resource. Call 1-877-TIPSMNR to report him. Or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS

I've caught a lot of smallies during summer at the Rouge River under Milne Park. Close to the Markham Rd. Bridge. Steelhead in spring as well. On the upper part of Milne is mostly Carp and large mouth. bass, and catfish.
