Says the guy with 384 posts, I bet you never shared anything throughout those posts....lets not be hypocrites, we all appreciate the information.

I seen a couple guys catching salmon at the credit 2 days ago.. fair size, guessing 15-18lbs

I'm just gonna have to keep trying, too bad you cant use two rods one deadsticking roe and one chucking spoons....although that might be a good way for me to lose another premium setup. Could always bring the girlfriend along so I can use the extra rod lol.

Seems a little early for daytime fishing without substantial rain staining the water. Nighttime is best this early in the season.

Ya its tough for me to get out during the night thou, closest place to me is a 1 hour drive and I work during the week and on the weekend im usually lucky to get a free afternoon to head out. I got a sweet headlight for night fishing this year though, cant wait to try it out.

What's the thinnest line anyone has used for pier salmon??? I have 12lb mono on my reel (8'6 rod) right now and don't feel like taking it off for the pier salmon. Last year I had 14 and it was fine. Anybody?

12lb u shoud be fine thats what i'm using as well, anything thicker and i cant cast as far enough.
