ok so i want to uplaod a profile picture but my camera takes 5megapixels pictures and well i trie to resize them to 150pixels and they get all gritty pixely and well cant make out what it is... i look at all the user members pics and they look fine can someone help me with that and cant work out the avatar thing either.... im not sure if i can attach it to this topic but ill trye... anyone with help wouold be apreciated...

and how do you use shoutbox? and im realy surprised that a site like this doesnt have a member only postable galery or somthing like it i meen pictures say everything right?... anywayse ill drop it since i know not gonna do anything about it lol....

open the picture in mspaint and press ctrl+w, should be easy from there

there is a shoutbox link on the top.

when you post reply or create new post there is easy mode and full mode options, in full mode it allows you to attach files

thx for quick response ummm... so i resized it on paint to 150 by 80 some pixels and i saved it a jpeg.. but way more then 50 kb obviously so i saved it as 24 bit witch brought it down to 30 kb witch is good but when i upload is says its not alowed?

90x90 is max if you upload it

however you can use web url for your avatar it will resize it

yeah... 90x50 at 13 kb doesnt work either says file type not alowed...

if u had photoshop elements this woud be very simple to solve lol

just resize using mspaint and make sure it doen' t go over 90x90
and save like jpeg or gif and make sure it doesn't go over 50kb

then upload it in the settings menu

the more details you have in picture the bigger the size will be, same dimension pictures might be different in size because of details in it.

yeah like i said its en Hd camera... thats probably why.... i uno i cant resize it to 90 pixels and save it as jpeg without it going over 50kb anything under 90 well its gonna be so small wont be able to see it anywayse lol.... oh well and yeah photoshop would be nice but not my laptop and girlfriends anal about me puting software on it.... if your site would take 24 bit id be done a long time ago lol.. i uno maybe im just to tired to deal with it....
