Hey everyone,
So did anybody catch anything out there today? Any pics? I went out for a couple of hours but nothing maybe next week if work allows it.

Got about 7 hours in today, 1 carp, 5 suckers, 3 shinners and a horned chubby was all I managed.. Mind you I did see 3 tanks being pulled out of the water.. Low clear water and tons of pressure I think spooked the fish, I've been going to my open spot for 19 years and have seen maybe 7 or 8 other people total and today I must've seen 18 or 19 adults and 3 kidlets. Also me being the dumbass I am, forgot my spawn sacks at home lol.

Between me and a few buddies, at least hit 70+ fish, the action was crazy. Went home before noon.

Only took a few pics while it was still dark, quality wasn't the greatest, camera kept getting moisture on the lens and it sucks at night.

Nice fish CJR. It was fairly crowded where I went today, but the fish were there near the headwaters and they were hungry. I ended up having to keep one due to my fail attempt at releasing it. Shiiiiiiiiittttttt, I promised myself I'd go on this crazy non-kill streak.

I didn't have to fight the crowds yesterday. I managed to catch the same number of fish as last year. Like last year I didn't loose any floats or terminal gear and was able to release what I caught without creating any harm.

Showed up to the section of river that we always fish on opener, and was blown away when there were at least 8-10 cars parked there already before first light. Almost got kicked off the river because landowners saw some idiots having roaring fires in the wood, (Go figure...)

Only saw 2 fish caught, Most fish must have spawned and dropped back already.

On the bright side, met my first two CO's who showed up around 10 to check licences and inspect the river.

You guys fishing anytime next week? I'm gonna hit a river one day this week but not sure where yet. Weekend is to crazy

my first opener was a sucess hitting 20+ fish by myself. but losing my phone to the river the day befor sure wasnt a plus ..... therefore no pics only memories
