wow????? thats crazy dude????????????? could be good for the fishery though then they reopen it to fishing in 5 years and there are some actuall runs againcomplaint in!

Couldn't agree more.. I just hope that it will benefit us as well as our fishery in a long run..

Good luck with that. If this situation doesn't get fixed soon, there will be no reopening of fishing a year from now let alone 5 years from now. Even if the "actual runs" manage to get bigger, you wont be enjoying them in the city limits.
Now that this situation is happening right now, its time to act and make our voices heard, not hoping for the best years from now, which by then there will be no politically motivation for them to allow fishing again as the drive to unban fishing by then will be so small it would be nothing but a faint whisper.

Is this ban still place? I've haven't fished Toronto Waterfront in years, and have noticed the lack of fishermen. Every other city I've been to has no issue with people fishing the waterfront? So why is this such an issue here in TOronto... Can't be good for tourism I'll say, oh wait nevermind.. The condos littering the shoreline like a patch of crab grass and dandelions has already ruined that..
