any suggestion where to fish some bass and pan fish within an hour drive from gta?? im favoring more going east. any info will be very much appreciated. im a newbie at this sport but it entices me so much. thx.

Hi,
do you have a boat or are you going to fish from shore? Generally, an hours drive would get you to Scugog for bass and panfish. Less then an hour, there's Frenchmans Bay in Pickering for pike. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

im planning on driving to either rice lake or the ganny. im just doing shore fishing with my brother im pretty new to all of this and whatever help will be very much appreciated. thx for the reply.

i already tried shore fishing at frenchman bay and skunked twice already im thinking about going farther from the GTA in hopes of improving my chances.
