i found a noodle rod at my buddies house in the garage rafters. its a Cavalier im7 12'6 4-8lb. problem is 1foot is broken and gone. i have a 4 ft section of tip from another noodle rod that is the same colour.
is this fixable and if so any recommendations on where to go? hey notta steeler.i think you told me your bud can do it?

in my humble opinion, dat rod is done like dinner.... you could slap a guide on the end of the broken bit, or discard the top half and use the other section, colour diff or not, splicing graphite together, hmmmmm, i dunno, is it really worth crossing your fingers every time you fight a fish?

Dugger is right. Scrap it, you dont want to use a tip section from another rod, unless it is identical in action to the original. Graphites, and actions vary from different manufactures , regardless of ratings on the rod. Any builder will tell you the same, they're are many cheap float rods on the market with a lot more balls then that Cavalier.
