I often use inflatable boats to fish the more difficult to access stocked lakes as they are cheap, light weight and fairly compact fitting nicely into a back pack here are some pics from a recent trip...

Your boat looks just like my Coleman 2 person (fits only 1) inflatable. They are cool little boats, perfect for those small calm water areas that most other boats can't get into.

Wow! How BIG is that bag?
It's pretty cool how you can pack up your boat and move from lake to lake.
As always that is one gorgeous fish. God I need to catch me some brook trout.

awesome. this is something i'd totally do here close to toronto if there were some back lakes that were off the beaten path but also not private.

just the adventure of it is cool enough. to land a nice fish is an extra bonus.

Thanks grubman,FishingNoob,Dugger,dockmuskie,klamp & rymbot... Yeah grubman those are coleman 2 man inflatable boats that I picked up @ Walmart they fit in an empty 5gal oil pail with just enough room left over for a foot operated air pump.
Yeah FishingNoob they are pretty big packs the MNR had them designed for them to carry fire hose which they camlock together and connect to a jet pump. The pack might look pretty big but most my gear weighs almost nothing the total weight of the pack is around 25lbs.
You can see the second inflatable boat tied to the rear of the first boat @ the portage. I just pulled the pail conatining the extra boat along much like a kayakers bullet capsule that they use to carry extra gear in I sometimes use them in much the same way too.
I will try and get out again soon and share some more pics...

Wow, that's a lot of beautiful pics. When did you find time to fish SmackUm? Or did you bring a photographer along? Lol.
That's a lot of nice fish and beautiful country. I've always loved catching Specks and it looks like you did great on them. Is that a Pink in the one pic?
Rainbows, Lakers, Bass and Walleye too. That looks like one trip I would love to make one day.

Thanks Alfiegee & FishChris I'll try and get out again and fish some more stocked lakes before freeze up... My cousin first introduced me to inflatable boat fishing in 1979 on a stocked lake Ontario has hundreds of them.

Without a motor I dont think you have to worry.

right now i just have a trolling motor, perfect for what I've been using the boat for.  the max motor size is 2hp but trolling suits me just fine.  I have a custom built carpeted floor in the boat so I can stand and (carefully) walk around...I also made 2 benches/tables and covered them in carpet.  Right now im using the cooler as my captains chair

12 ft, 6 person boat but really its perfect for 2 with room to spare.

not sure if u can tell but my rod on the left is sporting the hummingbird smartcast fish finder just above the grip. on the water I let the transducer drag behind the boat as I troll which helps me find good spots to drop the anchor.

nice setup you got there. mine is similar.

 

i hope you didn't pay $82 for the motor mount like i did.

 

i should think about making a bench for mine too. hmmm...
