I caught my first Steelhead from a Huron trib yesterday (tossing spoons for salmon). Check out the tail! Something snapped at it. Also, it's eye was fine, the hook got into the lower eye socket but there was no damage to the eye (barbless too).

Glow spinners or glow bead and fly combos, for browns just roe is OK, as they have good night vision and sense of smell. Night is best for me, as there's almost no people on the river and fish aren't spooked.
