Why not just ban photos then. Geez.. "I recognize that tree! There goes the river." I guy can't share a photo without being critisized. Just ban it all together then. The forum will be so much more fun.

I agree with ya there Nook. Not sure if this is all referring to one of the pictures I posted earlier in this thread. Its a tough situation but im not gonna make sure every picture that is taken of me doesnt have a background. Backgrounds are what make really nice pics, we've all seen pictures of steel so its the scenery that makes a pic truly worth looking at. Ive got some other nicer pictures from that weekend but didnt include them because the backgrounds were much more recognizable.

dmins could create a standard template(backround) and we could cut and paste the fishy on top---like a little mermaid pic--hahaha this is jokes---soon there will be marshall law-the rivers will become hostile people will be setting up snares-leaving dogs ties up overnight on the banks---i have a mandarin near my house with a fully stocked stream running through it--for 50 bucks i will give you the directions.

Spring rainbow. You can tell the area where a rainbow was caught by the coloration on it. The rainbows from the Matanuska valley, or "valley for short have a yellow tinge to them. As fish from the kenia pennisula are more chrome. I just love the yellowed up ones.

Too me the whole ban photos thing sounds crazy like Aknook says but then I live in NothWestern Ontario so both of us live in low pop areas...The bulk of the people on OFF live in the GTA big difference...I know I've lived in Toronto before and could not get out of the place fast enough!

Is that even possible? lol

AK that second last pic of the steel is interesting. Ive never seen a steel that looks like that, I imagine the ocean run fish must color up a bit differently than the lake run fish.

You know, that was the only one I have caught and seen that looked like that. The rest that had spawning colors had the typical colors on them. This one was orange, red and brown. Weird but interesting. It was the biggest one of the trip.

Got out to a Lake Huron tributary today with my son and we were 4 for 9. We had 2 brutes on resulting in broken leaders. Overall a great day and water conditions were perfect!!
