$0.00 Everything there is usually more expensive than you can find it at you're usual "Store", ie. Bass Pro. Le Barons. Etc.

yup, plus the fifteen dollar entrance fee and 15-20 dollar parking. at the end you save nothing and probably go over. only good thing about it, everything is in the same place.

Yeah, that entrance fee really bothers me. Why should I pay a fee to get access to a whole bunch of vendors that are all trying to sell me their stuff? Shouldn't they instead do everything in their power to "seduce" me (and by extension, my wallet) into going to see them? Don't get me wrong, I love the sportsman's show but that fee always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

While (in principle) I find ANY entrance fee to a trade show to be a cash grab...there are GREAT savings to be had. The 15' IM8 Laredo float rod for example from Amundson retails for about $270 (already an exceptional price for that rod), some hard core float guys came by, were sold on the item...went to Tight Lines and picked it up for $120. Furthermore, spend up to $200 in Amundson gear and come back for a free fly box and boxed fillet knife with glove and wet stone...BAM!!!

I will be there not to buy gear. I have my hook ups. lol. There's lots of added attraction for the kids...not just for shopping gears.

Haven't been to the Sportsman Show in years. For me and my needs, BassPro, Lebarons, Wilsons, Ang Spec., Sail and Tightlines are my year round sportsman shows. Therefore I am spending $0.00 like some of the others.

I went, 19 dollar entrance fee and free parking after 4.

Show was ok, the more people go the lower the prices will be for vendors and the better deals theyll be able to offer.

I'll be at the fishing show next weekend also. Its a tradition. 20 bucks is nothing

those fee's just help keep booth costs down, the company running the show needs to make money one way or another and entrance fee's probably lower booth costs by around 500 bucks. Its all about the balance, too high of a cost and you wont have as many good vendors. Too low of a cost for booths and all of the cost is passed on to those attending the show and the vendors end up exibiting a dead show.

Wish I could have made it but its probably for the best that I was busy fishing and not spending!
