I'm going to try the powe pro braid with a mono leader seems to be a decent line with good reviews

IMO
I would start with 30 lb braid, a thicker line will help you out with birdsnest. Believe me you will get some overruns.The thicker line will also help you train your thumb as to featherring the spool.
With my pixy type R I run 20 lb braid with a floro leader.

i was going to use 50 just like my other caster unless the power pro is different than spider wire

Good choice but remember to put mono on the first layer, then the braid or the spool might slip...

Alright any suggestion on mono I should use I didn't have to do that on my old caster it had a line tie in hole

most suffix, berkley, raven should be good. bang for the buck get raven, there is a green moss colour. 800 yards for 12 bucks. almost no memory. trilene big game, xl, xt are very good. suffix seige is also good.

Are you talking about the backing? If so the cheapest mono you can find, it serves no purpose other than providing a place for the braid to attach to...
