Lakers like it deep. People on Superior sometimes fish for them in over 200fow.

Here's one from up at my buddies secret lake a few weeks ago, this fish was as big as it gets out of his lake and they were shocked when I pulled it through the hole. Kind of funny that I was holding a fish this way before this thread even started! I think I really have the form down.

nado your story reminds me of the time i was fishing a steelhead trib with a my uncle, I hooked into this lunker! we thought for sure it was a world record but we released the fish . Ill never forget the fight it gave me on on that old ugly stick 7 foot medium action spinning rod with a shimano reel! We didnt have a scale but i would guess the fish weights around 43.6 pounds !!! :mrgreen:
