Hey fellow carp anglers. I would like to have a fish-in at the CCIW on May 5. Spread the word. We will probably have a big fish pool . Bring your grills , let's cook up some sausages and burgers and have some fun.

Here is a Google Earth image showing The CCIW ( Canada Centre for Inland Waters) and some of the popular places to fish carp around the harbour.

I hope this doesn't jinx us but the weather is looking absolutely perfect for the fish in. A warming trend with the right wind and sunny skies  all week. This should warm that end of the harbour up nicely. :)

Is there public parking at CCIW?

Yes. Parking is not a problem there. There is a big lot and there is no charge.

I checked out the place today.

First I checked to see if the place was compatible with the food.

Yes I believe it works well there.

Next came the carp.

They seem to be in the mood as well. .

I also spoke to a nice lady at our local newspaper and they put the event in the Hamilton Spectator.

Good to go then.

Going to try to make this even, it's a bit of a long drive from North York so I may not get there in time to fish, but would like to poke my nose in and see what all the carp anglers are up too these days  :).
