Nevermind I read it again and it says wild roe or* fish eggs. It would be easier if they just wrote fish eggs

Fishing with "wild roe or fish eggs" can be interpreted in different ways. The bylaw would explain it better when they put it in place.

when it gets passed as a by-law, yes there will be fines, just google ganaraska fish egg ban

https://porthope.civ... re Ganaras.pdf

scroll down to the part about police blitzes for the opener and a meeting to disclose fines and charges laid

I never use roe there!!

So I understand the smell issue.Be interesting what they will do to naturally dead fish!!

I aint cleaning it up!! Its nature so I keep one for roe, let the rest go!!

Clearly whatever rules exist on the Gan either aren't stringent enough or not enforced...both seem to me to be the case...
I know it's my bitch...but throw bait and catch fish...no brainer.
Just cast your memory back to last season and the looganville that place became...frankly the smaller tribs are facing the same fate these days.

I don't see what difference a roe ban would make for the September salmon crew. Those guys get them on plain hooks and cigarette butts. It'll be the steelheaders who will be affected by this the most
