Hey guys, i'm new to this forum as of a couple days ago just thought i'd say HI and tell you that I hope to try and get on here a couple times a day. Anyways, i'm 16 and live in Peterborough. I've been fishing all my life but I really got hooked on it when I was around 12-13 and since then I've been going fishing at 4am everyday before school and right after school. Now I still got a lot to learn and I hope to pick up a few tricks and tips here from you guys. lol Anyways I mainly fish the otonabee river its pretty good and I got a couple honey holes for bass and musky but this year i'm really trying to key in on some walleye. I've had some luck but not much. Anyways hope to talk soon

Robbie,

Welcome Robbie! I fish mainly bass, carp, sunfish and am trying to improve my skills for pike and walleye. Hope you'll pick some tips up, hopefully once the summer rolls on warm water species will get more attention. What setup do you use?

Hey man, i usually use a 6 1/2ft Plueger rod and reel lined with 6lb test mono i usually either use a hook and minnow or a Rapala X-rap. its not the most unique setup but i get some good fish. what setup do you use? Having any luck on the walleye bites really slow for me
