The scenery, the fishing - looked like a darn good time. Awesome report and amazing pictures. As someone stated, it looks like a shoot from a National Geographic.

looks like a pretty sweet trip. ive never done any trips like that. always motorboat stuff but that looked like fun!

Hey Dozer. Nice thread, and pics of the country and water. Beautiful fish too. Sounds like a great trip for some "Speck love " I know I wouldn't overlook the pools in your pics.

As for Black Flies they are a fact of life in the north, but we have this stuff called Muskol, way better  and cooler than the old netting we used to use years ago , technology.

Fiddleheads usually coincide with opening day here, so I manage to bring home some on opener. This year they weren't ready where I was, but they are good.

I was working in Stouffville a week ago and arrived at the job to find snow, not much, but some. It's Canada, we are the hardiest people in the world

Some of the bigger brookies you post look like they are pre- historic! This trip would be amazing, thanks for sharing!
