I purchased a canoe recently to get some good canoeing and fishing in this summer. Ive been looking for a large area to canoe that hopefully has some good fishing.

Any ideas around Hamilton/Burlington area?

 

Ive canoed Cootes which I love but the fishing there isn't excellent and eventually you end up canoeing ever end and now I need something new and unknown to paddle through!

 

First post, hoping to get some good feedback!

Binbrook Conservation Area just south of Hamilton.... loads of fish in there, my last outing I caught 110 black crappies without breaking a sweat and try Jordan Harbour and the Grand River. All very close to Hamilton.

Grand river, valens, chippawa creek, chippawa park. Tons of others, thats just a few.
