love the colours. i have not had the luck with the bass this year, it is the year of the Norther Pike. awesome bass the fight must have been incredible. top knotch man

Unless theres a mounting purpose behind it I dont keep many fish, but good for you on the catch and I am shocked it came to 5 lbs lol

I think pictures and measurements even suffice for having a mount made these days.

Yea they do but from my experience they don't always do the fish of a lifetime justice, especially when like me, you pay over a grand on mounts

Noo guys i did not keep it! It's too big for eating. The reason it was on the stringer was because i caught it on the other side of the narrows there on the bridge, and there was a guy on the other side fishing, so i hopped in my dingy and put the bass on the stringer so i didn't lose it going across.. so the guy could take a picture for me. Funny enough the guy says "oh that must be 9 or 10 pounds" lol i said "no probably more like 5 or 6. I weighed it and it came out to 5.25.

phew lol thats a huge bass my dad once caught a 4.98lb largie, but we ate it yummm

haha chasintails... i'm not sure i believe it was yum. I once kept a 3.5lb bass and ate it, the meat wasnt the greatest. i wouldn't really keep anything over 2lb now.
