(Pardon the new thread, this was also posted in 'Ontario Fishing Reports' section, not sure which section is more applicable..)

Anyone catch anything yet?  I went down last Saturday night after the storm (almost full moon), only couple other guys there and I didn't get a bite..  Getting anxious to hook into some chinny's, but I don't have access to getting out on the lake.  Too early yet for the pier?  What is your earliest pier chinny from Bronte?

Thanks for the replies.

Fish on!

Rob C.

Still a bit early you might get the odd one but for the most part they're still in 100' plus waters. Next couple weeks with some rain and they will be in and can be caught from the pair.

Haha. Well for me it don't matter as I always walk with a long net. Figured I'd just send the message out there for everyone. :-)

Those fly fishing nets with the little wooden handle would be great for pier fishing
