I had actually never thought about them holding fish...and then last night, I'm passing one and I see a big splash. It's totally land locked so I have no idea how fish would have gotten in there. I may have to toss my rod in the car and find out what made that splash!

Aint nothin to it but to do it! You Gotta check it out. The fish was pretty much calling your name lol

Often storm ponds have fish introduced on purpose to keep down the population of mosquitoes. The fish feed on the mosquito larvae.  I wonder if it is even a requirement for permission to put in a storm pond - otherwise they would just be mosquito breeding ponds, and possibly cause a lawsuit - or at least a bad reputation for the developer (who wants to build again next year).

The storm pond I usually fish Has Bass, Sunfish, Catfish and Carp. I doubt there are any pike. The White bucket fishermen have been killing it and my last few outings I have been skunked. Im sure it will be fished out real soon.

Keeping fish out of a storm pond is pathetic.  I pity them, but joking about killing them is just as pathetic.

Do you like a plethora of chemicals with your fish?  The greater majority here don't.. But the white buckets seem to not care about the fishery or their health... I just hope they're not feeding those very same fish to their children...

I know with the small fish that are too small to fillet, they toss them in a soup or stew to simmer and extract the flavor and juices....LMAO, its so gross. So imagine all that crap in that water is going right into their "soup".

My parents were killed by gobies and I was raised by white bucketeers.
