So I managed to take the day off yesterday and GBA and I decided to head to a certain trib. Based on temperatures and weather, we figured we may just get lucky.
On the river by 11am, we hit a few suspicious looking pools, until we saw this:
At around 2:30pm we were thinking about calling it a day, but decided to take a wade upriver. After a good hike, we were thinking of turning around and again, calling it quits. GBA then says to me "It's times like these where we turn a corner, and find a HUGE honeyhole"... We turned the corner, and let's just say we cancelled our lunch plans for the day, and didn't get off of the river until 5pm.
A few shots from the day:
Hope you enjoy the photos!
Cheers,
