1st bass of summer ...... very proud..

hey fellow fishermen, thought i would share my first Bass of the summer, tried different spots but no luck only catfish they were decent size but not what i wanted. i started losing hope and was ready to hang up my rod intill a friend from work took me to his spot and you can see thw results of that.. very proud guy

Huge smallie! I was having the same problem this summer, until a friend told me about his little spot....and if you look at my gallery, you will see the result

nice fish not to nag on u but u don't need to hold him in the gills grab him by the lower lip firmly next time. It is understandable to hold a pike or walleye in this manner without a net because of the teeth but not necessary for bass.

nice Bass. i've caught a lot of bass this year just not many with any size to them. i miss my cottage in temagami

Nice fish! I didn't do so well on the bass this year although I only went out 2x for em, Caught about 6 not 1 over 1lb

no worrys it takes some getting used to handling different fish you will get the hang of it im sure and if your not sure look it up...
