Still relatively new here and i just noticed something new. While reading through the forums and shout box I noticed that if you hover your curser over names a pop up shows up and under your profile pic is a number in a green box. From what i see its reputation points? I guess my real question is, how do you get/loose rep points and what do they do for you if any thing??

See that green square in the bottom right of your comment or post? It's basically a thumbs up thing, we should have thumbs down too for trolls imo

The new forum is so much better. There used to be more drama here than the Dr. Phil show.
