Okuma bearings come packed with grease. If you think they need oil, you have to take the bearings apart,clean out with brake cleaner and add a drop of sewing machine oil or 3 in 1. There is a utube vid how. If you do your aventa it will spin better than the sheff as theyre the same reel with a different plate and the aventa is broken in

it said what you bought today :)  and that nothing alone cost me 50 bucks in two days and i am half way into the list.

 

once i buy my new rod  you will be more happy.

The guy at sail recommended it, whats the negative to using reel butter?

You never want to put anything with any thickness on a pin .... Very thin oil is all you should use on a pin any thing else will slow it down and need more inertia to get it started

A tackle tamer is what I use to hold my leader and shot line pre tied. They are used mostly by walleye anglers to hod rigged worm harnesses .
