was out tonight. Water is nicely dirty (perfect for fishing)

 

Amount of fish though...not as much as I expected. Didnt hook a single one, but they were jumping

Hooked 5 non landed. Drifting full crawlers. 10lb main 6lb leader. Salmon's are beasting today. Jumping left and right

those are all clean hooks too! I landed 6 clean in 2 hours last night with Rusty. Agreed. My salmon fix is fixed. Bring on the chromers

first season salmon fishing, so far 50+ chinook, 9 coho but zero steelhead.  Can't wait for the steelhead.  I got too many roes right now

Honestly, those numbers are totally realistic.  it all depends on how many hours you spend on the river.  I fish everyday so for over 2 weeks it's only a dozen per day.  Fish for 8-12 hours and it's only like 1 fish per hour.  I seen people catch more than that

Not BS at all, Ive watched people do this, and Ive sure caught my fair share and Im not even a salmon fisherman. I'm sure both of them spent long days out on the river catching fish, not sitting behind a computer and wishing they were and bad mouthing the ones that did...lol kills me

 

Great job guys, and I hear ya...bring on the chrome

Its all about timing. Ive been on the river and its been slow then out of nowhere a run comes in and its fish on over and over

I was on water from sunup to sun down.
I've landed well over 80 salmon this season
And I do put tons of time in. Before work after work and I don't work Fridays.
So before you go shooting your gate off think about!!
