Awesome MuskieBait, very cool report. Blair would love this, he seemed like an avid multi-species angler.

PS. Blue Walleye you mean.

Yes, Blue Walleye (Blue Pike)...Sander vitreus glaucus

I know we're not supposed to name rivers, but I'm sure no one will object to me mentioning that the Conestogo River is a surefire river for brown bullheads. So is Mud Lake in Whitby :)

Ha! I fished Stogo for over 6 years and never caught a brown bullhead there...but then again I didn't fish any bait on bottom too much...

Thanks for breaking the rule to suggest a couple of spots. I'll check them out for potential.

No, we were looking for Creek Chubs, White Suckers and Blacknose Dace in the creek. We were using small pieces of worm for those three species, but anything will bite pieces of worm. That's why Michael mentioned there was a chance he may catch Atlantic Salmon smolt, especially when we were looking in the faster water for Blacknose Dace where Atlantic Salmon smolts also prefer.

Atlantic Salmon smolt was an incidental catch...but that doesn't mean it cannot be counted on the species list.
