I think if fees are put in, kinda like Bow Man said, people will flcok to somewhere else and that place MAY NOT have the same rules/respect of naming rivers and such, as I know that lots of people are big on this. So it might cause more damage then good.

Its unfair for the website to charge someone for what they could do for free anytime. The website is not very organized and can be confusing. Don't they make any money with the advertising. The moment that they try to charge me I am going to have to find another site. Not only me but everyone, its going to make them upset. If they didn't already leave I have not seen any recent posts.

I'll be blunt, this is not the best forum out there (I can think of a few off the top of my head that I prefer), you WILL see a lot of people drop out if you introduce a membership plan. Make a post minimum to view the sensitive sections and call it a day.
