Hi, I haven't been fishing jumbo perch for almost 3 years at Lake Simcoe (used to catch JP at Barrie, Keswick, Jackson's Point or Beaverton/Talbot River).  

 

Would like to go next week, does anyone know the situation now at Talbot River?  At spring I used to see 50-80 ppl fishing on the banks.  I heard they finished the project of the bridge and built up a small parking lot ($2.00 per day) with a management staff. 

 

If there is already big run of JP, thank you for sharing the information.

I live near there, wondering the same thing.  This summer I fished those areas a lot but didn't catch jumbo perch at all, just bass and pike
