I fully suggest using plastic wrap instead of ziploc bags. take the bag of roe you received break it up into days of fishing and wrap tight in plastic wrap squeezing out all the air.
never will have a problem and the eggs will last in the freezer.

Catfish, I use the machine, I like it. I tie about 50 in different colors and package in tens in ziplocks, newspaper and foil as per fishhead Mike's instructions. Forgetting some in your vest for a week or two seems to add to the scent...just don't leave any in the wife's car Tie some flies- no mess

air tight is easy just zip lock and literally suck the air out with your mouth or straw.... Manly!

I don't add anything to my roe, but I know some who will place tied sacks in mineral oil. Mineral oil will absorb the scent of the eggs while allowing them to milk a little longer.

How should the eggs smell like after being frozen?
Should they have a strong fishy smell after thawed?
