I got motion sick when the waves picked up on Couchiching and lost my lunch over the side of the boat. Then my sunglasses fell in and sank. Double whammy.

My brand new (at the time) armani glasses to island lake, drunk tryna get off the canoe on to shore.

I am always stupid cautious now. My Phone and walet go into a ziploc FREEZER bag with tripple seal. That has a float strung to it and also a key ring that I attach via a nylon cord to my vest.

I don't take my phone out on the water at all, too scared to drop it.

Bait- a dozen worms, right when the fish started to bite. Jars of fake eggs, dozen tied row, I even dropped my entire hand tackle box when I reached down to wash my hands and my pocket was still open. Water was too milky and fast to try and find it. Floats have fallen in the same manner. Thats when I decided to replace my blasted vest!

i dropped my new to me at the time kyrocera cell phone down an ice hole 12 years ago on simcoe into 120feet of water. Since then i never answer my phone while fishing. just wait till I'm back on shore and check messages. Also my new phone is in a water proof otter box and car key remote in a zippy in my river pack.
