The BIG BOYS are coming in to play a buddy of mine was at one of my spots and got a 12Lb Walleye  and a 18LB Pike  good to hear so BowSlayer  if you read this,, this is in the spot im taking you on sat  so make shure you have some good braded line ,,,

 

Wow. Those are some big fish.

 

I hope I have that kind of luck this weekend.

Hey BowSlayer make shure its a 12 inch leader if not it will bite it off,,, lol   was talking  with buddy about a half hr ago he said  fishing  was hot and will only get better had a few nice ones  brake him off and he is using 20lb braid  so be prepared ,,he was out this morning

 

Where abouts on Nip did this happen?

 

I'll be in callander bay this weekend. What type of leaders would you recommend for me?

 

Right now I have a 10lb test on my rods and tip up.

 

Definitely don't want to be losing any monsters due to lack of preparation.

PS: Not looking for you to give out your spots. Just wondering the general area to see if I have a chance of hooking into anything like that in Callander.

Well was a good day yesterday fishing  got 4 eyes some perch a nice pike and a herring gale force winds blizzard like conditions but we were out there a lot  of bites and misses and lost a few nice ones BowSlayer had a few brake off his dad got the pike all and all it was fun would do it all over again was a blast ,,,,,

Another good day on NIP was out at 8 am dropped my line and got on to a nice fish was there 20 min broke me off ,,did not see it,, thinking it was a big Pike ,,managed to get my 2 Walleye Limit 14 and 15 incher 3 herring 3lb to 4lb and 1 whitefish 8lb was a great day :cool:

Hey Ron found a new honey hole for perch I must of got 200 ,, 15 to 17 Fow  was picking out the best ones to keep,, brought 42 home good snack

nothing under 9 inch biggest 12  ,, got a good pile after I was done cleaning them ,, most of them were  10,, 10 and a haltf  11

mutt248,,,  ya seen that don't see  that to often  on Nip just happened to get caught in Calander Bay that's the only one iv see on Nip ,,,just a birth  defect im thinking ,,

 

and ,, Bow Slayer ,, not much more then we had when you were here,, snowed a little on Sunday about half inch

ya but some drifts are still pretty deep a little rough ride I see them bouncing all over the place  lol,, im going out Saturday for another round same spot  just sayin lol

lol, ya i would imagine its hard going with those snow drifts, i may be able to come up sunday but saturday is my bro's birthday so thats out of the question, i can't say anything for sure just yet though, cuz I'm way over my head with these exams, haha.
