I have been searching for inexpensive paracord line or shoe laces that are wide enough to make our own Slinky weight, so far no luck. Ebay has some up to 3/4 inch wide, but too pricey.

Here is an article on how to make them, http://www.topfishin...ift Fishing.pdf

Anyone have any clue on the right size paracord or shoe lace? I can use other weigh material aside from lead weights if I have similar paracord material. I have not tried Heat shrink.

I also found this video, no need the paracord outer wrap. Just intertwine some slip sinker with strong mono. http://www.instructa...-Drift-Fishing/

Thanks

I have a ton of paracord. I don't mind sending you a bit if you want to try it out.

PM me.
