went down to the Jordan harbour, water is really cold. caught a few small cats and a sucker thats about it. lots of people out fishing though

Anyone know how the grand river is going?

 the cold weather has me curious as to if fish are up in the rivers

I have fished caledonia grand no catfish action now. But two words ten minutes away, bathroom conservation area (binbrooke) I have caught a couple there last year same time, dead minnows from bait and tackle, there was seeing fish jumping every minute in the lake ( can only be catfish). Place may be what your looking for. FYI do practice catch and.relase whole lake polluted by a runoff from the airport.

i plan on going to to the grand river in dunnville tomorrow. i hope the fish are biting

Was there (grand) today, too early boys. Channels spawn in 21 degree water, and will run when its around 16... Well right now its around 8 degrees. If you want a semi chance go to the mouth of the river.

I thought the spawn might be late this year. I was down to a place near Cootes Paradise where they usually stage before the run today. 2 Bullheads and a Bowfin, which was nice, about 5 lbs.

me and 2 buddies will be kayaking the inside of the jordan harbour and possibly the sixteen mile pond area... i'll keep everyone updated as to how the day goes

so we went kayaking, didnt fish much so we didnt catch a thing. Carp are in at jordan on the inside of the highway, we would get close to the shore and would see 20+ carp swimming away and jumping.

still nothing but small kitties at jordan and around the area, haven't landed anything over 2lbs

since we had a long winter(im near london) the water in the rivers are still cold and the cats arnt coming back up from erie to spawn iv been 5 times and only caught a mullet millet what ever it is (a sucker) so the were i go its still too cold. 

 

i was catching them the beginning of april but the winter messed everything up.
