Picked some up at Sail today. They come in 3 or 4 colours & 2 sizes, 2 1/4" & 3 1/2" and they're anise scented. I haven't seen them before so they could be new. Anyone tried them yet?

i use berkley alot, but i saw a deal at a tackle swap last winter and i purchased quite a few packs of smokin jigs, tried it for the first time last week and itndidnt take long before i got a hit, i tried it because roe seems to produce slow that day, but will give the raven worms a shot this year for sure

I've been using berkey worms for years with lots of success. Riverwood worms not so much. These look like they'd have some pretty good action with the extra 1/2" and I've used anise to scent roe before so I figured I'd give these a shot. Gonna try them later in the week and I'll let you know how I do.

Is anise a common or popular sent? I've seen it mentioned a few times.

its one of the original old school scents. before all the gulp and berkley liquids stuff.

tried and true but maybe not scientifically the best?

Hi guys, I have tried the pink worms in the past and finally hooked up yesterday. I have one questions, where do you hook the worms right in the middle or at the end? What works better for you or does it differ depending which rivers you are fishing.

I hook mine about 1/3 of the way down from the head. Seems to work well.

I purchased the 3 1/2" and its hasn't produced for me yet.

I think that size would be good for the salmon season.

I've never had luck with soft plastics before this year - now the raven 2.5" is f**** killing it - i don't leave home without them now.
