Never having caught a Kittie in the same weight range as Carp, I really can't say....but I will say that I just about got spooled by a Carp last year! Tightened up the drag so I wouldn't loose my line...and it straightened the hook and got off! Oh...lol...yes, Carp *can* be very acrobatic!
