Was at Bluffers on Sunday and ran into another fisherman.  Had a brief talk with him about a Brown he caught and talked about a trib we have both fished over the years.. If you are the guy and read this please PM me as I would like to talk with you a bit more about a couple things

Thanks

John

Because most guys on the river are more easily approachable as a female.

I'm looking to fish at Bluffers park for the first time.,

Would someone mind leading me into the right direction?

-Like where to park, a decent spot to dip in first, and do the marina employees ever give you a hard time? I've looked at a map of bluffers and it doesnt seem like anything other than casting straight into the marina :???:

Park at the end where the road bends to the left. Just keep going. the end of the road is the parking lot. Nobody will bother you unless you start littering. There's a better chance of getting chased by a swan than a marina staff bothering  you. Lot's of water to cover. The marina is my favorite spot to fish. Pike, bass, perch, brown trout, steelhead, carp, bullhead and of course gobys are in there. I have seen a dead walleye drifting though I have never caught one...and occassionally you can catch a 'gull if you get unlucky...

I can't give away spots right now but bring night crawlers, spinners and plugs. if you know how to fish for suspending plugs slim chance of skunking. Saturday will be pike opener on zone 16. I will be at the bluffs by sunrise or earlier.

Zone 20 opened last Saturday. I don't know if you can count inner marinas of bluffers park part of zone 20 though. I just wait for zone 16 to open before i target them.

Not sure about DILLIGAF, but I have a variety.

From floaters, 2-4' square bills and 6-10' deep runners and sinkers... why? Any advice?

I'm visiting Bluffers this weekend.

I caught my pound best carp at the boat launch.  Use baits like boilies so the gobies don't mess with you too much.  Just a few feet from the edge of the shore is good enough in most cases.  I find that chumming helps but also brings tons of gobies.  Find the people feeding the birds and there will definitely be a pod of carp right under the birds.
