Every weekend is pike opener when you're at the 'berg.

Not bad, she weighed 5lbs on the scale.  Caught on a 2" square bill crank.

She started thrashing when I had my hand half down her beak.  Managed to get my hand out of there.  Then the hook point just broke off.  Fair enough.  Quick weigh in.  Healthy lass.  Back she goes

Safe release.

Figured I'd contribute something to the thread, here's a decent 32" Lake O fish from last week.

Jsteelcity, for summer gators, I'm chucking these with results:

2" and 3" squarebill cranks

H-9 and H-12 rapala husky jerks

3/8oz willow blade spinnerbaits

Natural baitfish patterns in clear/tea stained water, clear sunny days; sexy shad (or anything with blue) and fire tiger in all other conditions

Keep those gators coming!

Spotted this little guy off the shore downtown Toronto. Came back the following week with my rod and couldn't see him but flipped a spinner and he smoked it on the first cast.
