New to this area and just wondering if anybody can enlighten me on the ins and outs of bass fishing in guelph and area. I have a 18 ft tracker bass boat and want to put it to use as often as possible.

Welcome to the forum. I am out in mississauga so I cannot offer too much advice. But a tip i have been given is to use google map to scout out lakes in your area. Good luck!

The Guelph lake is great for bass !! No gas motors though !! Once you fish it a couple times and find the structures you will get great numbers !! :)

Bellwood Lake is ok, but forget about it on weekends after mid morning when all the seado's show up and turn it into a crazy house.

Parking can get a bit hectic, but there's shore fishing here: 43.611246,-80.207646 (copy and paste into Google maps)

I was just fishing in Guelph this weekend. Managed to hook a bass & a pike on my fly rod. Try speed river, lots of areas there.
