My Redington Siren Kate's should be arriving @ SAIL very soon...feels like Christmas!OH the anticipation....

BTW...are you the one who gave me Bob M's info from Redington?

Shawarma...that is something I'd be very interested in...

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Welcome, hmmm if you're shopping at SAIL where IR4J is working then you're on the east end. Fly Fishing is not my thing but there are some spots that I fish that I can say, fly fishing will work better than casting or drifting. because I still manage some fish drifting flies.

Welcome!

I have come to respect that ff is a minimally invasive style of fishing when practicing c&r, in comparison to other styles. And no harm to live bait :)

Never gotten into fly rods and reels, but I have definitely made use of flies as bait on my spinning gear.

IR4J:

I emailed Bob on a Sunday afternoon and received an unexpected response from him that same day!  My Kate`s are on order and should arrive at SAIL in no more than 2 weeks...Bob also mentioned via email that he sent a cc of my order to the SAIL buyer.

Needless to say, I am very thankful to you and Bob. I appreciate all of your help!

I can almost retire my RUBBER BOOTS...and explore the waters!

Welcome :)

Have you done any other type of fishing before using the fly?

Not really...a little while up north on the boat,

I'm a true NEWBIE!

To be quite honest a couple of weeks ago was the first time I ever touched a fish... lol

A few days ago I actually took the hook out...silly but true.

I plan on learning as much as I can...
