That pool was empty 2 minutes ago. There's about 2-3 inches of water in there now. So think we gotta head to Fergus now. Lol.

Actually you are right Chris. I'll check hatch chart. And yeah you can nymph or use streamers. Isonychia is hot right now. Grey fox is moderate. Probably the best 3 to be using on the river right now. Along with whatever streamers you want to use.

Think what I'm going to do is meet you guys in the morning, then for the day I'm going to head way upstream to above belwood and chase some carp, then come back down for the evening. That's unless you guys have some good news tonight.

id just like to know what the final plan is so i can go to bed ready to roll and not have to completely plan a new route and re-figure out last minute details first thing in the morning.

not trying to complain, but you know what im saying i hope.

hopefully its settled soon cuz its almost bed time if im gonna be up when i planned lol ;)

Sounds good guys, I'll be there in the morning but may duck out in the afternoon to head over to Guelph lake as I'm not sure I'll be able to bring myself to fishing trout on opener.

Are we fishing for browns or bass? We're way up in brown trout territory. If we are heading downstream, why not meet in Kitchener /Waterloo/ Winterbourne?

not trying to mess things up at this late hour...just don't want to drive way upriver (I live in Kitchener) just to turn around and drive back.

Eric went out to scout today and decided that it would be a safer move to fish browns instead of the bass water with high water levels.
