What fish are you trying to target and where are you located?

Since you are new to fishing in Ontario, my best advice in starting off would be to familiarize yourself with the Ontario Fishing Regulations.

Hi thanks for welcoming me,

I am from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moldova,

I would like to start with shore fishing, about what fishes mostly any (bass , pike, carp or any other ... )

I have read the regulations as first thing when starting to lookup fishing in Ontario. Been all ready at 2 lakes Mitchel and Chemong, caught some SM Bass and Sunfishes, small fishes I would like something bigger (larger).

And all most forgot, hi to all ladies :) as well,

Thanks for you support,

welcome to the forums, you speak any Russian? Let me know what you're after, what area are you in Richmond Hill/Toronto? Lots of places around here, bass is open soon, the lakes you were on are great for bass if you have some sort of boat, lots of pike and crappie fishing around there from shore as well.

Hi, welcome, please be familiar with how the regulations work in Ontario.  Very important.

It's worth reading because it lists out alot of lakes in your area you could fish from for starters.

Trimmed your message a bit, and btw welcome to the forum

So as long as you have your license and your still looking for something bigger, then dont overlook Carp... They will give you one heck of a fight!

Start with sight-fishing for them, -observe your desired body of water first and determine whether or not there are actually Carp in there.

Then, put a kernal of corn or two on your hook, cast it out there with a decent size lead and let it hit a gravel bottom.

Tighten your line slightly, bank your rod, crack open a brew and wait for the fireworks to begin

Welcome!
