A little kitty like that felt like a 6lb largie? Man...Bass are weak...So are the bass anglers. :razz:

Just pushing buttons...you are asking for it when you compared that little kitty to a 6lb largie. :razz:

From what I can see of the tail, looks like a bullhead. Can't say for sure if it was a Brown Bullhead or a Black Bullhead.

:lol:

Seriously...6lb largie?

If it was mistaken for a largie without mentioning the weight, OK...that's fair. Bullheads can bite and pull like a largie on the initial go, until they do their silly dog-chasing-tail kind of spin during the fight.

But 6lb largie? It take a much bigger kitty to feel like a 6lb largie. Just look at that creature bait...it's 3-4" long (if I'm generous)...compared that to the Tatula R-Type next to it (spool width of the Tatula is 28.5mm...or a little over 1 inch)...making the kitty about somewhere between 12-14" long (if I'm generous)...it's maybe just over 1lb.

6lb largie...pfff... :roll:

Dimension of a Tatula spool -> http://forums.tackle...hp?f=68&t=53886

Fisherman lies...but at least be a bit more reasonable...

I just said 6lb largie simply due to the fact that anytime you are punching it could always be that 6lber... fought like it should have but caught in an area where ive never seen bullheads..

I like these accidental catches because they keep you guessing.

The best is when you catch Cats on a crankbait :)

You want to hear about an off day! I took my brother out to pre fish Rice Lake for a tournament hes fishing in a couple weeks. We new the bass were deeper so I took him to an 8 foot weed line and tossed 7 inch senkos to locate the fish. Sure enough first cast, this beast jumped onto my brothers hook. Was an awesome fight!

so far I got it here local in markham. Lebaron's ran out of the prism shad colour but they have the other ones. Ebay is expensive as f*ck. If you can grab some flicker shads really good for pike as well made by berkeley.

KVD Slashbaits are amazing if your spending 10 bucks on a jerk bait. I know the X-Raps are just outstanding but I would not waste my paint on pike! The KVD Pro Blue color is great!
