So anyone want to look into setting up an outting on the ice this season? Would be great to meet some of the awesome members of OFF. Also I found out this Spring Fishing and Boat show I will be at the St.Croix booth so if anyone is going to be there on the weekend, you should all come out and introduce yourself!

That should be easy. Not hard to hook 10 a day when they are on

If someone would show me where and how to hook 1 I'd be happy. So far they've been like the Loch Ness monster.

It's always easy when you manage to get out on the "on" day. My luck though, hardly every an on day lol.

BUT this year shall be the year!

its not about the bite being "on" its about your presentation and choosing the right spot ;), I'll try to make anything that gets planned as long as its north of the GTA.

Hey guys sorry I have been crazy busy with work and some other stuff. I was on simcoe this past weekend and I will be going out tomorrow. Easily caught about 200 perch between my partner and I with maybe 12 keepers. My partner only kept 5 for dinner and we tossed back the rest. No live bait, all caught on buckshot spoons and some panfish grubs. If you have instagram I have a pic of one of the 14 inch perch we caught. Pinatsis is my instagram! Take a look and follow and I will follow you guys back.

Habs gonna do it this year. Been unnaturally long for them and with the passing of Beliveau they have motivation.
As for ice fishing, down. Are we talking a group of us renting a few huts for a nite? Or just heading out and randomly augering holes?
I've done Simcoe a few years ago with an out-fitter and had great times.
I'm interested anyway.

Talked to an operator. Near Beaverton. $ 60 per nite. Heated hut and bait. May throw us a discount if a number of us go. Walleye and Perch. Lakers would cost a few bucks extra.
