The ice season has been good to me so far this year. Some tough days but overall pretty good. Here is my new PB Walleye and the largest from my recent Bay of Quinte trip.

Nice! Did you weigh it? Looks like around 7 pounds

I did weigh her. Came in at 9 pounds. Picture doesn't give a good look at how big it was.

We iced 11 eyes on Saturday. Largest was 7.8, and then 5 and change. Where are all these lunkers at gawd dauyuuuuuum

Oh my that just makes me cringe! 

I don't get whats happening in this picture. Like are they having a BBQ out there? Must be all setup for a photo op, the water doesn't look that deep. Possibly that ice is on a sand bar? Many times I have been fishing while chunks of ice that big or larger break off often over a foot thick. They are unpredictable and would be crazy taking one for a ride

move around. the weekend before, first light till 11am we were in two spots and were 0/1, moved one last time and got 5 in 45 mins. All about dat cov'rage

Well for me up here in the great white  north... lol... fishing has been great so fare try to get out as much as possible lots of herring and whities the walleye are a little harder to get with the new keeper size being 18.1 in but its great to get out and catch fish no mater the size.. in general love the sport ,,,end of season is near already looking forward to next  season ,,, looking forward to going south this summer  to get some  steel,,,lol
