i hope you have read all the dead steelhead/salmon are in salmon river! that is where the big mess is. people were witnessing dead/floating fish. not sure if it is better now, but i would not make my trip there until it was confirmed that it stopped happening.

Hey Paul, your timing is dead on. In a few weeks Feb - March that place will be heating up. Looking forward to all your pics and better load up on ammunition (beads, flies & roe).

People around us got some fresh ones. But those stayed there all winter.
Interesting way to fly.. Even thought this was my first time.... Ppl there add split shots to leader to get it in strike zone during cold water times.
i do the same in the spring, just add a tiny tiny split shot, gets to bottom faster, especially useful when the fish are at the head of the pool
