I know better than to ask for spots to fish but how about if l ask about the lake ont tribs, oshawa to trenton, are they iced over still or maybe fishable in the lower sections? Living 3 hrs away makes scouting a little less pleasant than some yrs ago. thx gang

don't expect much to change this week, we had 4ft+ of frost in the ground, plus rain forecast for most of this week into the weekend, be high and dirty

yeah this week is looking brutal. Rain 4 days in a row. Typical April, not much fishable water until opener unless we get a solid 4-5 day dry spell

River conditions don't matter. learn how to fish whatever the river gives you...

I agree that it helps, I guess it's because of my limited time to go out so whatever opportunity I have to go out, I need to adapt.

Conditions matter when they determine whether or not fish will be In the river...

water was a good color yesterday out east. Unfortunately i was not able to find the fish, neither was anyone I ran into, i haven't heard of anyone hooking up yet this run...tough one this year.

If your looking to go out, water will be prime tomorrow, before the rain starts and ruins the weekend fishing.
