 I just fried them up in butter, garlic and some herbs and they were delicious.

imo thats the best way ;)

I don't know if this is small stuff, but here I go. Definitely tight quarters with those walls. Trout heaven is what I can say about this place...

I don't know if this is small stuff, but here I go. Definitely tight quarters with those walls. Trout heaven is what I can say about this place...

wow beautiful place..wouldnt try wading it tho lol, those canadian shield rivers are super slippery

Thanks! It wasnt too bad. A lot of the riverbed was pebbly, so it made for some pretty easy trekking.

Dozer just introduced me to em a few years back so I dont have much experience cooking them. I just fried them up in butter, garlic and some herbs and they were delicious.

Lol, I used to go with an older friend when I just started fishing here. Whenever we get a good skunking...he would drop his rod and just starts walking around, comes back with a bagful of fiddleheads...would always mumble...fish or no fish...i'm having good dinner tonight...lol
