NADO, you need either an auto inflate PFD or a kayak specific PFD where the back insert is only up high on the back of the vest so the seat rides under it and allows you to sit normal again the seat

lol screw you Mike.

Dilligaf I need to get a new one that one is so uncomfortable, the seat pushes it up against my neck so its like i'm wearing a neck brace.

Flandogg where have ya been? You have to be the 10th person to show concern for my personal safety lol. I assure you guys that while it may be a bit risky I feel much safer in a kayak that can't sink than some of the smaller and older boats that venture out there. If they have an engine failure in rough water they are in big trouble.

True, those old boats are trouble. Just keep an eye on the weather, west end can get really choppy. Remember squats and leg press for amazing looking legs and a....for peddling strength.

The rudder is finally fixed. It turns out the cables were fine, they just weren't around the pulley that is connected to the handle. Cant wait to get out this weekend now that it will finally be working properly.

Nado, you truly master what you put your mind to. Cudos to you.

seeing the e cigarette in a holster gave me a chuckle too.

We haven't gotten out with the kayak's yet, but I don't think I would venture out quite that far, especially since mine doesn't peddle. Let me know if you are going to be closer inshore for salmon sometime soon.

I was wearing my body glove vest this weekend on the yak and it was plenty comfortable so I would recommend one.

Cheers. GD.
