Got 2 simcoe lakers on 2016.06.25

I got my laker on williams silver spoon at 28m deep.. then my dad decided to change his lure to a spoon as well, having a speed shad... he started to reel his line really fast.. and on 15m BOOM!

15m - it's a surprise to hook on such a depth...

And imagine the speed.. it is as fast as you can reel... that laker was a torpedo

Sweet lakers!

When it hits at that speed, does it turn back down or do you feel slack on your line and set?

@pump, the torpedo one, hooked at 15m, went down to the very bottom (30m), it was wild (with fin) and very aggressive, it was a good fight. The one that I got, was slack and without the fin.

Thanks for the report. Do you see them chase your lure on your fish finder, like when ice fishing?

DD, exactly, they were chasing, many just following and leaving... basically same as ice fishing, but on a boat :)
